If you were to take a Magikarp from an egg, and only fight other Magikarps with it, It would need a whopping 1,250,000 experience to get to lvl 100. Now taking said Magikarp and ONLY fighting lvl 5 Magikarps with the old rod and not giving it exp. boost items OR giving it any rare candies or ANYTHING to boost exp. gain or lvl gain, the lvl 5 magikarp gives 14 exp upon fainting. Now ONLY fighting with the lvl 1 Magikarp, by means of struggle until it learns an attack, it would take 89286 lvl 5 Magikarps to lvl it to 100.
Anyone want to go kill 89286 Magikarps now?
